We are excited to announce the upcoming Pollinator Symposium, scheduled for March 18-19, 2025, at Salish Kootenai College hosted by SKC Extension Office and the Wildlife and Fisheries Department. This two-day event will bring together experts, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore the latest developments in pollinator health, conservation, and policy.

Capturing the Unseen: Clay Bolt’s Intimate Portraits

of Nature’s Smallest Wonders.

Join us in welcoming Clay Bolt, an award-winning natural history and conservation photographer renowned for his captivating images of the world’s smallest creatures. As WWF’s Manager of Pollinator Conservation and Great Plains Communications, Clay combines his passion for photography with a dedication to protecting native bees and other pollinators.

Clay’s work has been featured in prestigious publications such as National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times, and National Wildlife Magazine. He is a Senior Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers and a Fellow of the Linnean Society of London. Notably, Clay played a pivotal role in securing Endangered Species Act protection for the rusty-patched bumble bee, North America’s first federally protected native bee.
